Premier Food Services launched its Club Management Division with the award of its
contract in 1988 to manage the then newly opened Ida and Cecil Green Faculty Club
at the University of California, San Diego. Situated in the center of UCSD’s main
campus in La Jolla California, the Faculty Club has become the social center of
the University.
In the tradition of academic communities the world over, the Ida and Cecil Green Faculty
Club offers to faculty, staff, and community friends of the University, a convenient
comfortable place in which to relax and to enjoy high quality dining. The Club offers
members and their guests a quiet retreat in an intimate and tasteful setting to
enjoy the camaraderie of colleagues, hold meetings, and to celebrate the significant
passages of life.
In addition to Premier’s renowned food and beverage services, and facilities management,
it is also responsible for facilitating and implementing all aspects of the Club’s
mission and policies including member recruitment and retention.
